Ayan Asadli is a dedicated high school student with a strong passion for psychology and environmental sustainability.  She was a semi-finalist in a European Union competition, where she developed an innovative startup project aimed at benefiting the environment. Beyond her academic interests, Ayan has achieved recognition in writing, being selected as one of the top 20 participants in an international essay competition.  

She is also an active volunteer with the Student Volunteers program, contributing her time to various initiatives that promote social engagement and development. Ayan's dedication to global issues is reflected in her participation in COP29, where she engaged in international discussions on climate change and sustainability.  Additionally, she has taken part in numerous knowledge-sharing programs, further expanding her expertise and global perspective. 

Ayan is thrilled to be joining Women in Renewable Energy (WiRE) as a volunteer. She is excited about the opportunity to contribute to the organization's mission of empowering women in the renewable energy sector and advocating for a more sustainable future.  She looks forward to making a meaningful impact and helping to drive positive change in the field. 

Her passion for psychology, environmental action, and community service, combined with her multilingual skills in English (C1) and German (B1), make her a valuable addition to WiRE.  Her role with the organization is sure to open new doors for collaboration, learning, and growth in the renewable energy space.
